must have 2 years of experience in specialty 

12 months’ worth in specialty within the past 3 years. Only one reference per facility is accepted.

Hire and train new staff members.

Supervise staff during shifts.

Create a budget for the department.

Respond to patients' complaints or concerns.

Discipline staff when necessary.
