Position : Quality Assurance Director
Provides leadership and oversight of the infection prevention program, abstraction for required/regulatory reporting, patient safety and compliance with regulatory, legal and accrediting standards.
Functions as Compliance Officer and Risk Manager.
Providers leadership over the Quality Improvement Committee and coordinates and facilitates quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement throughout the facility in coordination with the Quality Improvement Coordinator.
Collaborates with senior leadership, Quality Improvement Coordinator, and providers and staff to demonstrate consistent improvement on ACO quality measures.
Annual implementation, review, and evaluation of facility quality, safety, and performance improvement plan.
Anticipates and recognizes evolving factors that affect current and future needs and develops and/or directs plans/programs/projects to respond to and support business objectives.
Aligns and sets quality standards and expectations, ongoing monitoring for timely reporting and meaningful results. Supports use of tools and methods for improvement methodologies. Assures implementation of quality improvement efforts and measures.
Directs policy, procedure, standards, guidelines or training material development and implementation.
Oversees credentialing of privileges within the Quality Assurance Department.
Presents self in a professional manner in all duties and enhances professional growth through participation in education programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
