Position : RN RECOVERY
Responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within the surgical service unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.
Revises nursing orders/care plans based on physician’s orders and effectiveness of intervention to impact desired outcome, ensuring quality patient care.
Responsible for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
Sets priorities for emergencies, changes in patient status and unusual occurrences. Demonstrates the ability to re-prioritize.
Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with hospital standards.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Complies with hospital standards for documentation in medical records. Identifies documentation problems and suggests corrective action.
Provides safe patient care for patient according to hospital policy, and abides by the Code of Conduct and Compliance program.
Performs other related duties as assigned and within the parameters of qualifications and scope of practice
