Position : Nursing Director or Manager for Acute Care

Provides direction and leadership for care delivery in the Acute Care Unit. Plans and implements nursing budgets, monitors nursing productivity reports and collaborates with other leaders to facilitate favorable financial performance. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory standards and evidence based practices for ACU scope of care, and ensures compliance.

Supervises staff in the Progressive Cardiac Unit and Medical Surgical Unit and plays an integral role in departmental operations, including but not limited to; recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, promoting, discharging, assigning work, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining. 

Manager level: Provides direction and leadership for care delivery in the Acute Care, Medical Care and Inpatient Rehab, has 24 hour accountability.

Actively supports and participates in shared governance.  Assist staff in the respective clinical area as needed.
