Position : Manager - Pulmonary Services
Responsible for preparation and ongoing review of Cardio-Pulmonary Services budget.
Monthly evaluation of cost centers within the department through the DMR and the equipment / order tracking process, including monthly costs per Unit of Service, and department productivity reports.
Maintains capital equipment records, to include new acquisitions, trading, selling and tracking of capital equipment, oversee departmental non-capital equipment issues.
Drafts new departmental procedures, structure standards, techniques and competencies and reviewing / revising existing ones.
Participates in departmental QM plan / JCAHO readiness.
Direct supervision of the Cardio-Pulmonary staff, including performance evaluations and counseling.
Participates in programs for Respiratory staff, attends meetings, and participates on committees as needed. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs and current literature and workshops.
Develops and oversees staff education, and interdepartmental education programs.
Oversees Pulmonary Services Clinical Career Ladder.
Directs candidate screening, interview scheduling, and hiring via People Click program.
