Position : SQL/Oracle DBA
6 years of experience developing, maintaining and administering both Oracle and MS SQL Server databases is preferred.
Certification on Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database (MCSE DBA, Oracle Associate) and eight (8) years of experience with relational database technologies is preferred.
Experience conducting general database administration tasks such as database implementations, backups, and account maintenance on both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle is required.
Minimum of two years administering database platform specific advanced features (e.g. clustering, encryption, logical/physical standby, ETL, replication) is required.
Extensive experience writing T-SQL and stored procedures and query tuning on high transaction systems is preferred.
Experienced in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is preferred.
Experienced in ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) development / data integration is required.
Proficient with SQL server profiler for monitoring and troubleshooting database activity and performance is required.
Experience in SQL Server Clustering and HA technologies including mirroring, log shipping, failover cluster and various replication technologies is preferred.
Experience with Data Modeling Tools as well as creating and maintaining data models is preferred.
Experience with Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement and related security requirements governing the connection with and access to criminal justice information
Experience utilizing project planning applications such as Microsoft Project (prefer experience with Smartsheet).
Demonstrated ability using a life cycle management process for implementation of changes in technology.
