Position : CT Technologist Job Position
Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.
Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Program; Graduate of an ARRT Program
Experience: Minimum 1 year related experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech; Minimum 1 year related experience as a CT Technologist.
Certifications: State of Arkansas License, Certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology through NMTCB or ARRT and be registered in PET/CT, ARRT(N), ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), as well as current CPR.
Other: Ability to work independently; computer experience is desirable; patient care
relevant to performing as a Registered Radiological Technologist, eCW EMR, Cerner
EMR, and prefer experience with CNMT Seimens 16 slice Emotion CT & Acyst Power
Injector and Intelispace Philips PACS.
