Job Title: Registered Nurse ICU
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be responsible for providing optimal care to critically ill patients. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and implement treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients in need of intensive care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients in the ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
