Job title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images for medical interpretation. This role requires a thorough understanding of MRI procedures and protocols, as well as excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and follow safety protocols
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images
- Maintain patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- State licensure as an MRI Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of MRI Safety
