Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care and support to patients struggling with behavioral health issues. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide emotional support to patients in need.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' behavioral health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on behavioral health issues and treatment options
- The employee must regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds, frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral health nursing
- BLS/BCLS Certification from American Heart Association.
- Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
