Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. The ideal candidate will assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and developing personalized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities of daily living
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and collaborate on patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and modalities
- Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is preferred
