Job title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic medical team. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans on patients to assist doctors in diagnosing medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
2. Operate radiologic equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures.
3. Position patients correctly for imaging procedures to obtain accurate results.
4. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
6. Monitor and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
7. Follow protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality imaging results.
8. Educate patients on imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification and state licensure required.
3. 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
6. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
