Job Title: Registered Nurse - LDRP
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP), you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to women throughout the childbirth process. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess the progress of labor
- Assist with the delivery of babies
- Provide support and education to new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Previous experience in labor and delivery preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of maternal and neonatal health
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
