Job Title: Dialysis RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Dialysis RN will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing dialysis treatment
- Monitoring vital signs and assessing the overall status of patients
- Administering medications and performing dialysis procedures as prescribed by the physician
- Recording patient progress and communicating with the healthcare team
- Educating patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis treatment, and self-care techniques
- Maintaining a clean and safe dialysis environment
- Adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dialysis nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of dialysis equipment and procedures
