this position requires rotational scheduling and on-call (night, weekend, and holiday) coverage upon successful completion of established didactic and clinical requirements, required exams, and the discretion of the OR SCN.
Position requirements include, performing basic duties of a surgical technologist.
Assist with positioning, surgical prepping, and draping of the surgical patient.
Responsibilities include setting up an operating room before surgery and ensuring all needed equipment and instrumentation is available and in working condition for the scheduled surgical procedure.
Surgical specialties include: General Surgery, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Podiatry, Urology, etc. for adult and pediatric patients.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required. Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
