Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for providing assistance and care to patients in healthcare facilities. You will work under the supervision of medical staff to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Monitoring and recording patient vital signs.
3. Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
4. Assisting with medical procedures under the direction of medical staff.
5. Keeping patient rooms clean and organized.
6. Communicating with medical staff regarding patient status.
7. Assisting with feeding and hydration of patients.
8. Turning and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
9. Responding to patient calls for assistance.
10. Following all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Current CNA certification.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
5. Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to work well in a team environment.
8. Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed.
9. Knowledge of medical terminology.
10. CPR certification.
