Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care (LTC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our elderly residents and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders

2. Monitor and assess residents' health status

3. Develop and implement care plans for each resident

4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care

6. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues

7. Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid RN license in the state of practice

2. 2+ years of experience in Long Term Care nursing

3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

5. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
