Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your main goal will be to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of all patients in your care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
3. Help patients with mobility, such as transferring them from beds to wheelchairs.
4. Assist with feeding and toileting needs.
5. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the supervising nurse.
6. Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
7. Follow all healthcare protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
8. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Current LNA certification in the state of employment.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
7. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
8. Physical stamina to lift and move patients when necessary.
