Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary:
As an LNA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and communicate patient status to the healthcare team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide basic care for patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
2. Assist patients with mobility and transfers
3. Take and record vital signs
4. Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team
5. Help patients with range of motion exercises
6. Provide emotional support to patients and families
7. Maintain a clean and orderly patient environment
8. Follow all healthcare protocols and procedures
9. Assist with medical procedures as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of an accredited LNA program
3. Current LNA certification in the state of employment
4. CPR certification
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
