Job Title: Medical Assistant (Nursing)
Job Summary: The Medical Assistant (Nursing) will provide support to healthcare professionals in a clinical setting, assisting with patient care, procedures, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist medical staff with patient intake, assessments, and procedures.
2. Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
3. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
4. Perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs and dressing wounds.
5. Coordinate patient care and educate patients on treatment plans.
6. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
7. Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
8. Provide support to nursing staff in delivering quality care to patients.
9. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a certified nursing assistant or medical assistant program.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work well in a team environment.
5. Detail-oriented and organized.
6. Knowledge of medical terminology.
7. CPR certification.
8. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
9. Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
