Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to patients in a healthcare facility. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, while also promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and toileting.
2. Help patients with mobility and transferring from one place to another.
3. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
5. Assist with patient meals and provide nutritional support.
6. Follow care plans and collaborate with healthcare team members.
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
8. Report any changes in patient condition to supervising nurses.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
