Job Title: RN Med Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an RN in Med Surg, you will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and prioritizing patient needs
- Monitoring and administering medications
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members
- Educating patients and families on healthcare management
- Documenting patient progress and interventions
- Providing emotional support and advocating for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Prior experience in a Med Surg setting preferred
