Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients under their care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Med Surg unit
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly
- Educating patients and their families on health management and care plan instructions
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg or related field
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
