Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Your primary duty will be to assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure the comfort and wellbeing of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
2. Take and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
3. Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
4. Help patients with mobility issues, such as getting in and out of bed or using a wheelchair.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during their stay in a healthcare facility.
6. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.
7. Maintain patient records and document all care provided accurately and timely.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Nursing Assistant program
- Current certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients as needed
