Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team in providing accurate laboratory testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory procedures and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue samples
- Prepare specimens for analysis and interpret results accurately
- Follow strict guidelines and procedures to ensure quality control and patient safety
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Keep accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations
