Job Title: Registered Nurse (ER)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an ER Nurse, you will assess patients, administer medication, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Triage patients based on their condition and prioritize care accordingly
2. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor patient vital signs and provide immediate intervention as needed
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
5. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for infection control and safety
8. Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license and BLS certification
2. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting
3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
6. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends
7. Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation
