Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary: A Registered Nurse provides patient care, education, and support to individuals and families across various healthcare settings. They work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
2. Monitor and report changes in patient's condition
3. Educate patients and their families on health issues and management of illnesses
4. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans
5. Document patient care and treatment in accordance with regulatory standards
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
7. Assist in emergency medical procedures as needed
8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families
9. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times
10. Follow all hospital policies and procedures
11. Participate in continuing education and training
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus
