Job Title: Registered Nurse (Emergency Room)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in urgent medical situations. You will assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and triage patients based on their medical condition.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment.
4. Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and emotional support.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
6. Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
7. Provide education to patients and families about their medical conditions.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
9. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on best practices in emergency room care.
10. Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
2. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
3. BLS and ACLS certification.
4. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in emergency room nursing.
5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
9. Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures used in the emergency room.
10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
