Job Title: LPN (Licensed Practice Nurse)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
2. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse
3. Assist with patient assessments and care planning
4. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
6. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
7. Educate patients on their conditions and self-care techniques
8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
9. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
10. Perform routine clinical tasks, such as dressing changes and wound care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice
2. CPR certification
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
7. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
8. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
9. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
10. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
