Job Title: Director of Rehab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehab to oversee our rehabilitation department. The Director of Rehab will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the rehab department, including developing and implementing programs, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals through rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Manage a team of therapists and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and other key stakeholders
- Track and report on key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or related field
- Current state licensure as a therapist
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
