Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals to provide basic care services to patients in healthcare facilities. Your primary responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, transferring patients, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Feed patients who are unable to feed themselves
- Help patients move and transfer between beds and wheelchairs
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients
