Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
The LPN will provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. They will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and providing wound care. LPNs will also be expected to maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patient needs and developing care plans
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Providing wound care and other nursing interventions
4. Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
5. Educating patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatments
6. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
7. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
8. Adhering to all regulatory guidelines and best practices in nursing care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
5. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
6. Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and protocols
7. Experience with electronic medical records systems
8. Continuing education in nursing practices and regulations
