Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide quality care and assistance to residents in a healthcare facility under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Your primary responsibility will be to help patients with daily activities, monitor their health and wellbeing, and provide emotional support to those in need.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Take and record vital signs
- Respond to call lights and provide immediate assistance to residents
- Assist with repositioning and transferring residents
- Observe and report any changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current certification as a CNA
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
