Job Title: CNA-LTC (Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care)
Job Summary:
As a CNA-LTC, you will provide direct patient care and support to residents in long term care facilities. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient's health status, and provide emotional support to residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Take vital signs and report any changes in resident's health status to the nursing staff.
3. Help residents with mobility and transferring from bed to chair or wheelchair.
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
5. Follow the care plan developed by the nursing staff and communicate any concerns or issues to the appropriate personnel.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
7. Assist with meal preparation and feeding residents as needed.
8. Document all care provided accurately and timely in resident's records.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
2. High School diploma or equivalent.
3. Ability to work well in a team environment.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents.
6. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
7. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
8. Physical stamina to assist residents with mobility and lifting.
