Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care (CNA-LTC)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant working in a Long Term Care facility, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your primary role will be to assist residents with their daily activities, help with feeding, bathing, and grooming, as well as monitoring their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, and dressing
2. Monitoring and recording vital signs
3. Assisting with mobility and positioning
4. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
5. Reporting any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff
6. Ensuring the safety and comfort of residents at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid CNA certification
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work well as part of a team
4. Compassionate and patient demeanor
5. Ability to follow directions and work independently
6. Basic medical knowledge and understanding of long term care practices
