Job Title: RN-LTC (Registered Nurse - Long Term Care)
Job Summary:
The RN-LTC is responsible for providing quality care to residents in a long-term care facility. This includes managing medications, assessing residents' health needs, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assess residents' health needs and develop care plans
- Monitor residents' conditions and provide necessary interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educate residents and their families on health management and self-care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility policies
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in long-term care
