Job Title: RN-LTC (Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care)
Job Summary:
As an RN-LTC, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will assess resident needs, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions
- Provide education and support to residents and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- BLS certification
- Strong organizational and time management skills
