Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing nursing care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. Your primary role will be to administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and assist with patient assessments and care planning.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the medical team
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in medical records
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
