Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, performing various clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
- Adhere to all medical and safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
