Job Description

Job Title: RN Med Surg

Job Summary:

The RN Med Surg will be responsible for providing direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit. This includes assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Conducting comprehensive health assessments

- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs

- Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop care plans

- Educating patients and their families on health conditions and treatments

- Providing emotional support to patients and their families

- Ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times

Qualifications and Skills:

- Current RN license

- BLS certification

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting

- Strong critical thinking and communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Excellent bedside manner

- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and treatments
