Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist

Location: Hamilton, MT 59840

Job Description:

Works to analyze a variety of biological specimens and maintain the daily operations of a clinical laboratory. Responsible for performing and collecting scientific testing samples and reporting results to physicians.  Areas of medical laboratory training may include microbiology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, transfusion medicine, toxicology, and molecular diagnostics. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments to conduct tests
• Analyze test results and report findings accurately
• Maintain quality control and assurance procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment and test procedures as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Participate in continuing education and training activities

Pay Package:

• Weekly hours: $2150
• Hourly pay: $60
• on W2: $28
• Stipend: $1162

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
• MTL(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification preferred
• State licensure or certification as required
• Covid vaccination proof
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
