Job Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Abilene, TX 79601. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients in our facility. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic nursing care procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.
• Assist registered nurses or physicians in implementing patient care plans and treatments.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Traveler must live 150 miles or more  from our facilities in order to be considered 

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Texas.
• BLS - CPR certification.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting (preferred but not required).

Pay Package:

• Weekly gross: $1666
• Hourly pay: $46
• On W2: $14
• Stipend: $1132
