Responsibilities:

Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery or procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and condition closely, ensuring timely intervention if any complications arise.
Assess patients' pain levels and administer appropriate pain management medications as prescribed.
Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care transition from the operating room to the PACU.
Educate patients and their families about post-operative care instructions and potential complications to watch for at home.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Shift: 1pm - 9:30pm M-F with 6 - 8 days of On Call per month required

Requirements:

BLS, ACLS, & PALS
TX or Multistate RN License
Strong Phase I PACU experience.
CCU & Pediatric experience is a MUST.
2-years STRONG PACU experience. Please do not submit candidates that do not have 2 years. Must be able to recover critical care patients.
