Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Clarkston, WA. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation, as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' respiratory status and response to therapy, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing, to assess lung function and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure patient and staff safety.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Washington.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in respiratory therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Package Breakdown:

• Weekly Stipend: $2550 for 36 hours
• Stipend: $1162
• On W2: 38.5 hours
