Job Description

Title: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Adult, Orthopedic

Location: Kingsport, TN 37660

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with orthopedic conditions during night shift (7pm - 7am) on a 36/48 schedule.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
• Minimum [Insert Number] years of RN experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic setting preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Note: Traveler’s permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area.

Pay Package (negotiable)

• Weekly gross - $2400
• Per hour - $60
• On W2 - $31
• Stipend - $1162

Shift: night shift (7pm - 7am) on a 36/48 schedule.
