Job: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: Scottsbluff, NE 69361
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: Day shift
Guarantee: 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $2600 - $3100 /week

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals orally, by injection, or inhalation.
Explain imaging procedures, answer patient questions, ensure comfort, and position patients for scans.
Operate imaging equipment like PET and SPECT scans, process images on various organs, and monitor for reactions.
Keep detailed records of radiopharmaceuticals used and produce images for physician interpretation.
Follow safety procedures to protect from radiation, maintain imaging equipment, and stay updated on field advancements.

Requirements:

Graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
Nebraska state license and certification.
ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine OR CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
BLS - CPR from AHA required
Proficient in operating imaging equipment with good manual dexterity and mechanical skills.
Strong communication, empathy, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
