Position: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Newport, VT 05855

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team in Newport, VT. As a Hospice RN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care and support to terminally ill patients and their families in the comfort of their homes or hospice facilities. Your primary focus will be on managing pain and symptoms, promoting comfort, and ensuring quality end-of-life care for patients.

Float to: RN - Hospice, RN - Home Health, Wound Care Nurse 

Shift: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)

Weekends: Some weekend coverage is required

Call: Some call may be scheduled, but only on an emergency basis

Requirements:

• Must have OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set) Experience
• Home Health and Hospice Experience required
• Experience traveling from patient to patient for home visits
• BLS required
• RN - VT License required

Pay Package:

1. Traveler

• Weekly gross - $2600
• Hourly pay - $65
• on W2 - $36
• Stipend - $1162

2. Local

• Weekly gross - $2500
• Hourly pay - $62.5

Also Note:

• EMR system used is HealthWyse (Careficient) 
• Outpatient care
• Facility does their own Background Check as well
