Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
SHIFTS: (6AM - 6PM)
Duration: 13 week
Location: Mattoon, IL
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing difficulties or cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of respiratory therapy principles and excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting patient assessments to determine the appropriate respiratory therapy treatment
- Administering medications and treatments, such as oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy
- Monitoring and evaluating patient responses to therapy
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans
- Providing patient education on respiratory care techniques and equipment
- Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified or registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred
- Current state licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
