Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. LPNs play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
3. Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans.
4. Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
5. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice.
2. Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
6. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
7. Basic computer skills for electronic medical record-keeping.
