Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will work with individuals of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine the nature and extent of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication and swallowing needs
- Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders to improve their communication skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of clients' progress and treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with individuals of all ages with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
